ICYMI: Tin Lizzie’s headed to the ASTRA Toy Fair last June to scope our the best of the best for 2025 toys and games. What is ASTRA? ASTRA is the premier annual trade show and educational conference hosted by the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) for the specialty toy industry. It serves as a key event for independent specialty toy retailers, manufacturers, and sales representatives to connect, discover new products and trends. Since you couldn’t go with us 😉 we’ve brought back our best of the best! Plus each year, ASTRA hosts the ASTRA Play Awards honoring 19 toys for innovation. 4. Tween (9-12): Buildzi Block Stacking Game. ASTRA winner for Fast-Paced Fun. Buildzi is a prior year award winner and not new to Tin Lizzie’s. We still love this game for good time screen free fun for older kids and for those that never want to grow up no matter how old they get. Plus we love our traditional games like Rummy and Chinese Checkers!

5. Teen (13+): The Shashibo won again for the Kidult category! These 3D magnetic puzzles are all about invention that sparks creativity, promotes hands-on play, and offers endless entertainment. Similar to the Shasibo the Plus-Plus Hexel won the TOTY Speciality Toy for creative building for kids 3 and up and the Heebie Jeebies Wind Fidget Spinner won ASTRA winner for engineering STEM play.
